Section Global
illimination
Brightness
- This value determines
the brightness of the converted colors. The range is from 0 to
200.0.The value by default is 65.0.
Contrast
- The value
determines the
contrast of converted color . The range is from 0 to 100.0. The value
by default is 50.0.
-
If you want at changing one of parameters
Brightness or Contrast , to
change the other in proportion ,the button must be pressed.
Colour
saturation
- Determines
the saturation of the converted colors. Values range from 0 to 20.0.
The value by default is 1.
Section General sun
lighting
Turn
on/ Turn off the
sun
illumination - This button switches on the general lighting
in the drawing and vice
versa. This is a global illumination for the entire drawing. The
control is implemented for AutoCAD 2009 and higher versions.
Furthermore
you can insert and local light sources: Point, Distant and / or Spot lighting (spotlight).
The
sun position is
defined by
the small buttons located around the preview of the drawing. The step
of change is 22.5 degrees.
Sun
position on height - The value is
selected from the drop-down
list and defines the position of the sun in height. Ranges from 0 to 6.
Higher values correspond to greater height and vice versa.
Press Set
to save the
changes in this section. Cancel
closes the
window without saving of the made changes.
Insertion
of local light source lamp
The lamp light
source is a local light
source. It
simulates
a lighting of an electrical bulb. It spreads light radially in all
directions and it is gradually softened (its intensity
becomes less)
with increasing of distance from the light source. The available shapes
are: Bulb (Sphere shaped) and Pipe (Linear source). For the spheric sources must to define
the radius dimension, for the linear sources - the source length (length of the area for
lighting).
The values by
default of these sources are set in a optimum mode but they can be
edited. The lamp parameters are:
Intensity
-
Specifies the inherent brightness of the light. The value by default is
0.02.
Height
from floor level -
Define at what level from the floor to be placed the light source.
If you want to add
shadows to a source, check the option Source
shadows. The presence of shadows in the job creates greater
realism of the colored image. You may define the source position
at its generating. Click the button Select
a source
position and
press the left mouse button on
the screen to select an
insertion point of the light source.
After selecting the item you will return in the main window.
Click on Set for insertion of the light source in the
job
Light
source editing - Select it in
the drawing by double clicking of the left mouse button on it. Window
"Properties" of the source in AutoCAD opens, where you can make changes
- to change the color, intensity, etc.
Insertion
of
local light source Spotlight
A
spotlight distribution casts a focused beam of light like a flashlight,
a follow spot in a theater, or a headlight. Its parameters are:
- Source name - Specifies the name of the light.
The name by fefault is "Spotlight"+
source nimber in the job. Enter a new name into the field to change it.
- Intensity factor -
This value defines the rate of reduction of the light intensity of
emitted by source. Value by default is 0.02. It affects the value Intensity
in the ray end.
- Height from floor level
-
Define at what level from the floor to be placed the light source.
- Source shadows -
If you want to add
shadows to a source, check the option Source
shadows. The presence of shadows in the job creates greater
realism of the colored image.
- Intensity in the ray
beginning
- Sets the intensity or brightness of the light. The range is 0.00 to
the maximum value that is supported by your system. The value by
default is 1000.
- Intensity in the ray end
- Reports the final brightness of the light. This is determined by the
product of the Intensity in the ray beginning and the Intensity factor. (Read-only)
- Basic ray - Specifies the angle of the brightest
cone of light. This value can range from 0 to 160 degrees. The value by
default is 25.
- Softening periphery ray
- Specifies the angle that defines the full cone of light. This value
can range from 0 to 160 degrees. The default is 50 degrees. The softning
angle must be greater than or equal to the basic ray angle.
You may define the source
position
at its generating. Click the button Select
a source
position and
press the left mouse button on
the screen to select an
insertion point of the light source.
After selecting the item you will return in the main window.
Click on Set for insertion of the light source in the
job
Light
source editing - Select it in
the drawing by double clicking of the left mouse button on it. Window
"Properties" of the source in AutoCAD opens, where you can make changes
- to change the color, intensity, etc.
